A World Of Opportunity: Why Invest In A Holiday Home Overseas?

Holiday homes abroad offer a tempting escape from the routine of daily life, providing a chance to unwind in a new and exotic setting. These homes act as a tranquil retreat, allowing individuals to immerse themselves in different cultures and landscapes while enjoying a sense of comfort and familiarity.

Whether nestled in the rolling hills of Tuscany, perched on a sun-kissed beach in the Caribbean, or overlooking the bustling streets of a vibrant city, holiday homes abroad offer a chance to create lasting memories in an idyllic setting. From savoring local delicacies to exploring hidden gems, these retreats provide the perfect backdrop for relaxation and exploration, making them a sought-after option for those looking to recharge and rejuvenate away from home.

Suppose you are considering investing in a holiday home abroad. In that case, it makes perfect sense if you like to go on vacation every year, prefer to spend time in the same location, and are looking to diversify your investment portfolio while enjoying the added personal benefits. Holiday homes offer great advantages, and in this article, we share some of the benefits of owning one.

No. 1

Resort-style living

Enjoy resort lifestyle living when you spend your vacation in your holiday home. Why pay an excessive price for a hotel when you can have the luxury of your own home? When you invest in an overseas property, you can enjoy it whenever you want to and at any time of the year. Plus, it’ll allow you to make money on rental income while living most of your time elsewhere, as you can rent it to other people.

No. 2

Diversification of investments

Diversifying your investment portfolio is a fundamental principle of sound financial planning. Investing in a holiday home overseas provides an opportunity to diversify your assets beyond traditional investments such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Real estate investments, particularly in stable and appreciating markets abroad, can offer a hedge against volatility in financial markets and provide a source of passive income and long-term capital appreciation.

No. 3

Lifestyle and enjoyment

The chance to take extended vacations at your favorite luxury destination means you can truly immerse yourself in the lifestyle and culture of the place you’ve chosen as your second home. Whether it’s a luxury villa by the beach in the Caribbean, a mountain chalet in the Swiss Alps, or a beautiful historical townhouse in the heart of a European city, your second home allows you to relax in the summer and enjoy another part of the world.

It’s incredibly rewarding to spend days, weeks, or months in another place, embrace its rhythm, and feel like a temporary resident. Your second home will be a luxurious escape from home and a place where you can relax and rest while enjoying the diversity of new, yet familiar surroundings along with your loved ones.

No. 3

Capital appreciation

Many popular overseas holiday destinations offering a particularly desirable climate and a strong tourism industry have seen property appreciate over time. Investing in local real estate markets can offer considerable capital appreciation as property values rise over time—providing a solid capital gain to build your wealth and personal financial plan to secure your financial future.

By selecting the right property and location, which has a proven track record of opportunity in a region—and one that has strong rental demand—property selectors can ride the appreciation wave. You will have the chance to realize long-term gains as your investment gains momentum and provides residual returns. Enjoy passive income as you reap the rewards of a sound investment that matures with each passing year.

No. 3

Tax advantages

Owning a holiday home overseas may provide tax advantages and incentives that may enhance the financial benefits of your investment. Depending on the country and local tax laws, you may be able to deduct from your home equity loan property tax, maintenance expenses, and depreciation. Additionally, certain jurisdictions have favorable tax treatments for rental income and capital gains that may enable investors to maximize their returns on an after-tax basis and be a part of their investment strategy.

Takeaways

When contemplating investing in a holiday home abroad, there are various factors to consider before making a decision. It is essential to research and understand the real estate market, property regulations, taxes, and potential rental income. Analyzing the location's popularity, weather conditions, amenities, and accessibility is crucial.

Additionally, evaluating your long-term financial goals, maintenance costs, property management, and the impact on your overall investment portfolio is advisable. Seek advice from real estate experts, financial advisors, and legal professionals to make an informed decision that aligns with your objectives. Remember to factor in exchange rates and any political or economic risks of the foreign market.

Ultimately, investing in a holiday home abroad can offer both financial returns and a place for memorable vacations, but thorough consideration and planning are key. Once you get past the intricacies, you can enjoy a myriad of benefits that make it all worth the effort in the end. Having something to pass on to your family for generations of enjoyment is immeasurable, and you will be grateful you had the foresight to see it through.

The Ultimate Guide To Part-Time RV Travel

Staying at a hotel or motel can be nice, but bringing your home with you is a much better deal if you are a spontaneous traveler. Specifically, Recreational Vehicle (RV) travel is a great option for many people who enjoy spending time on the road whenever their schedules allow.

Having a house on wheels has many benefits, but if this is your first time preparing for this type of travel, here is everything you need to know to ensure a positive experience.

No. 1

Looking for the right RV

If you are looking to buy your first RV, there are several things you need to consider. First, think about how many people will travel with you. Your party size will dictate the size of your vehicle.

Also, consider the amount of time you will be spending on the road. If you are just planning to use your RV on the weekends, you will be able to pack all of your necessities in a smaller one. On the other hand, if you are planning cross-country tours, you will need more room for not only your luggage but for tanks and generators as well.

Finally, before you pick your new RV, consider how you will use it in the future. Are you planning to park it somewhere and then explore your surroundings by bike? Are you going to spend plenty of time indoors, or do you plan to use your RV just as a place to crash? Answers to these questions will help you determine the size of your future home on wheels.

No. 2

Making it a home

Whether you are planning to remodel an old RV completely or enjoy your new vehicle as it is, it is recommended to add RV insulation for extra comfort. This is especially important if you are planning to travel during summer or winter when the temperatures are extremely high or very low.

No. 3

Setting a realistic budget

Traveling with an RV includes plenty of expenses, some of which are rather obvious, and some of which are not. For instance, besides gas and insurance costs, you also need to leave a place in your budget for hoses, wheel chocks, and other RV-specific purchases.

No. 4

Finding the best insurance option

Your RV is just like any other vehicle, and you will need to insure it. Most insurance companies offer insurance for RVs, so shop around and look for the best rates. If you are buying an RV from a dealership, you will probably get an offer from an insurance company they work with.

No. 5

Planning the route

To plan your next getaway in your RV, you must find roads that can accommodate the height and weight of your vehicle. Also, make campground reservations in advance. RV travels are very popular right now, so it is better to book reservations at parks or private campgrounds a few weeks before your trip than to end up having no place to park.

When it comes to packing, focus on the essentials first, and do not stress out about things you didn’t bring, which you can easily replace while on the road.

Keep in mind that getting from point A to point B takes longer when you are traveling with an RV, so look for gas stations that accommodate RVs, bring along extra gas in a gas can, and look for any roadside stops.

No. 6

Storing your RV

Since you won’t spend every day on the road, you need to think about where you will keep your RV during those days when you are staying at home. If you live on a property where you can store your RV, you are in luck. You can save on storage fees and use your vehicle as a guest house.

If this is not an option, you will need to look for an RV storage. The costs of this storage will depend on the size of your vehicle, and sometimes these places even have a waiting list. Bear in mind that you will need a proper RV cover, tire covers, and locks to properly store your RV.

Takeaways

Traveling with an RV means traveling in your home away from home. No matter where the road takes you, you will have everything you need for a remarkable vacation. So long as you do a bit of planning and preparation, you can settle into the ease of taking off whenever you decide to go exploring. So, slow down, take a deep breath, and enjoy your next RV adventure.

How To Select The Best Boiler Cover For Your Home

In-home maintenance, few things are as vital as a reliable boiler. The unsung hero keeps our homes warm and cozy during those frosty winter months.

However, like any mechanical system, boilers are not immune to breakdowns or malfunctions. Thus, it becomes imperative for homeowners to invest in the best boiler cover to protect their investment and ensure an uninterrupted heat supply.

This article will explore the art of selecting the perfect boiler cover with finesse and precision. By following these expert-guided steps, you can navigate a sea of options, assess your unique needs accurately, and make an informed decision that guarantees peace of mind while maximizing cost-effectiveness.

No. 1

Assessing Your Boiler Needs

When choosing the right boiler for your property it is crucial to assess your specific needs. By conducting a thorough assessment, you can select a boiler that meets your capacity, efficiency, and functionality requirements. Here are key factors to consider when assessing your boiler needs:

  • Heating Load: Determine the heating load required for your property Consider factors such as square footage, insulation, number of occupants, and specific heating needs. This assessment will help determine the appropriate boiler size and capacity.

  • Efficiency Requirements: Assess your desired energy efficiency goals. High-efficiency boilers can help reduce energy consumption and lower operational costs. Consider the efficiency ratings, such as Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) or Thermal Efficiency (TE), when selecting a boiler.

  • Fuel Type: Evaluate the available fuel options and their availability in your area. Common fuel types for boilers include natural gas, propane, oil, and electricity. Consider each fuel type's cost, environmental impact, and infrastructure requirements.

  • Application and Functionality: Determine your boiler's specific application and functionality requirements. Will it be used for space heating, hot water production, or process heating? Consider any special features or configurations needed to meet your operational needs.

  • Budget: Assess your budget and consider the upfront costs, installation expenses, and long-term operational costs associated with different boiler options. Balance your budgetary constraints with the desired performance and efficiency.

No. 2

Researching Different Boiler Cover Options

Exploring various options for boiler protection entails thoroughly examining the available coverage plans. To make an informed decision, consider the following:

  1. Customer reviews: Read about the experiences and satisfaction levels of other customers to gauge the reliability and quality of a particular insurance provider.

  2. Insurance provider reputation: Research the reputation of different insurance providers regarding their financial stability and claim settlement process.

  3. Coverage plans: Compare the features, benefits, and limitations of different coverage plans offered by various insurance providers.

No. 3

Comparing Prices and Coverage Plans

Comparing prices and coverage plans allows for a comprehensive evaluation of available options, ensuring that individuals can decide based on their specific needs and preferences.

Understanding policy exclusions is crucial in assessing the extent of coverage provided by various plans.

Additionally, evaluating customer reviews provides insights into the quality of service offered by different providers.

Takeaways

Selecting the best boiler cover for your home requires a thorough assessment of your specific needs and diligent research into the different options available.

By comparing prices and coverage plans, you can make an informed decision that ensures optimal protection for your boiler.

Like a well-crafted shield safeguards a warrior in battle, the right boiler cover shields your home from unexpected breakdowns and costly repairs. Make this wise investment to enjoy peace of mind and uninterrupted warmth in your abode.

Wellness Under the Sun: Your Summer Health

Now is the time to seize the Summer months and make the most out of them by enjoying those long, sunny days that are filled with exciting outdoor and wellness activities to boost your well-being and build lasting memories.

HLL x Wellness Under the Sun: Your Summer Health

Starting your day with an acai bowl loaded with your favorite fresh fruits is a refreshing and delicious start to your Summer days. @hellolovelyliving

Prioritizing your health and well-being, especially during this time, by adopting simple yet effective habits will help keep you healthy while you enjoy all that Summer has in store for you and your family.

Let's dive right in with useful strategies you can apply to prioritize your physical, mental, and emotional well-being during Summer.

No. 1

Stay Hydrated

Staying hydrated during summer's scorching temperatures is of vital importance, particularly if engaging in outdoor activities or spending an extended time under direct sunlight. It is especially essential if engaging in activities that require physical exertion such as sports.

Make an effort to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water daily; increase this consumption if participating in physical activities that expose you to direct sunlight.

Switch from sugary beverages such as soda and juices, to water, herbal teas, or fruit-infused water for flavor enhancement instead; keep a water bottle close by so as to quench thirst instantly when necessary.

No. 2

Be Sure To Include Seasonal Foods

Take full advantage of Summer's bounty by including more fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. They will not only taste wonderful, but are packed full of essential vitamins, antioxidants, and other vital properties.

Switch up meals by packing salads, smoothies, or grilled veggies. Focus on incorporating vibrant ingredients from your grocer or local farmer’s market to create meals that are fresh. Seasonally available produce like strawberries, watermelon, corn, and tomatoes taste amazing, especially during Summer.

Experiment with a self-discipline focus by prioritizing whole foods over pre-packaged or processed foods so as to achieve an optimum daily nutritional balance. Your body will feel fuller, longer simply because it is receiving the proper intake of the necessary vitamins and minerals it requires versus empty calories.

Additionally, did you know that by incorporating natural supplements like Mucuna Pruriens Powder, you could naturally increase your dopamine levels? This superfood, commonly known as velvet beans promotes brain health and learning, supports the immune system, and boosts energy and motivation as well.

No. 3

Protect Your Skin

While Summer brings plenty of sunlight, you must protect yourself from UV rays by applying broad-spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen at least 30 minutes prior to heading outdoors; more frequent applications should take place should swimming or sweating occur.

Also wear protective clothing, hats, and sunglasses during peak hours (generally 10 am-4 pm) where UV radiation rays are strongest to block direct sunlight for effective sun protection. Proper skin protection not only reduces sunburn risks but may reduce skin cancer risks as well.

No. 4

Engage in Regular Physical Activity

Take advantage of longer days and pleasant weather by engaging in regular physical activity—outdoor sports like swimming, cycling, hiking, or beach volleyball.

Summer is also a time when indoor activities are also an option, so consider things like dance, yoga, pilates, cycling, martial arts (jiu-jitsu) classes, or the gym to get yourself physically active even if the weather becomes unbearable.

Setting aside specific times each day for exercise and engaging your body regularly will not only extend your life but increase your natural dopamine—and in turn happiness.

No. 5

Drink and Party Safely

When engaging in alcohol or drug consumption, always keep safety as the top priority. Always know your limits, never drive under the influence, avoid illegal substances which might interact with medications, and stay informed regarding risks in order to guarantee an enjoyable Summer experience with healthful outcomes.

If you find yourself needing professional help, you can also contact services like Real Deal Outpatient Rehab.

No. 6

Prioritize Mental and Emotional Well-Being

While physical health should always come first, avoid neglecting your mental and emotional well-being. After all, these are precursors to your physical outcomes since they are some of the main drivers that help you initiate physical activity in the first place.

If you are not feeling well inside, you will not have the desire to be outside or around people. This would likely affect your ability to follow through with activities and hinder you from being open to beneficial practices during this time.

Summer offers the ideal environment to unwind, recharge and indulge in activities that bring pleasure such as hobbies, reading meditation, or journaling that help maintain a positive outlook and reduce stress levels.

Connect with loved ones through outdoor gatherings, picnics, or virtual meetups, and seek support if mental health struggles become an issue.

Incorporating social interactions into your plans during Summer is important as it tends to be a time when people do establish new and strong connections and could make all the difference in your overall mental health and wellness.

No. 7

Sun Safety

It is essential that when engaging in outdoor activities this Summer, sun safety practices go beyond applying sunscreen alone.

Be wary of hot surfaces like asphalt pavement or metal objects which could pose potential burn risks as well as hot pavement surfaces that might scorch you upon contact.

In doing so, you could prevent unwanted sunburns, heat exhaustion, or other heat-induced injuries.

No. 8

prioritize Your Sleep

As those Summer festivities and joys take place, it is vital that rest and sleep be prioritized as part of overall well-being. Aim for seven to nine hours of quality restful sleep each night by creating relaxing bedtime rituals like reading before sleeping.

Taking warm baths prior to sleeping is also helpful in encouraging restful sleep. Additionally, practicing mindfulness meditation prior to sleeping (especially if electronic devices with blue light displays disturb your sleep cycle) will help to avoid insufficient rest caused by this common sleep disturbance.

Takeaways

As Summer draws upon us, seize this moment to prioritize your health and well-being more than ever so that you can enjoy it fully.

Staying hydrated, eating seasonal food items that boost energy, engaging in regular physical activity, and prioritizing mental and emotional well-being as well as small steps that lead to overall well-being will have an incredible effect on your general health and Summer enjoyment.

Make a promise to yourself this season to take small steps toward overall health. You will feel and look better, which will ultimately improve your quality of life over the long term.

Together we can all enjoy an incredible Summer full of health, joy, and unforgettable memories.

9 Common Summer Pests and Their Usual Hiding Spots

As the summer season approaches, so does the arrival of various pests that can disrupt our outdoor activities and invade our homes. Knowing the common hiding spots of these pests is crucial in preventing infestations and ensuring a pest-free summer.

hello lovely living

@lucreziaworthington showing us the beautiful view from an ex monastery converted into a wonderful, rustic hotel nestled near the hills of the Chianti Classico in Tuscany, Italy.

In this article, we will explore seven common summer pests and the usual places they hide, providing you with valuable insights to safeguard your home and enjoy the season without unwelcome guests.

01

Mosquitoes

Those relentless summer nuisances have specific hiding spots where they thrive. Stagnant water acts as a magnet for mosquitoes, making flower pots, bird baths, gutters, and discarded containers potential breeding grounds.

To prevent mosquito infestations, it is crucial to eliminate stagnant water sources by regularly emptying and cleaning containers, clearing clogged gutters, and ensuring proper drainage in your yard.

Additionally, keeping your lawn well-maintained, trimming tall grass, and reducing shaded areas, can discourage mosquitoes from resting and breeding during the day. Taking these proactive measures will help you create a more enjoyable and mosquito-free outdoor environment.

02

Ants

Ants are notorious for invading our homes in search of food, and they have several common hiding spots. These industrious insects often find their way through cracks and crevices in the walls and foundations. They may also establish nests in wall voids, behind baseboards, or underneath kitchen appliances. Outdoors, they can create colonies in the soil, garden beds, or near tree stumps.

03

Flies

Flies are not only bothersome but can also pose health risks as they carry disease-causing pathogens. To keep flies at bay, it is important to address the areas where they tend to congregate. Apart from garbage bins, compost piles, and pet waste, flies are often found buzzing around outdoor dining areas, especially if food is left uncovered.

By practicing proper sanitation and ensuring food is tightly covered or stored appropriately, you can significantly reduce the presence of flies and create a more enjoyable outdoor experience. Additionally, installing fly screens on windows and doors can act as a physical barrier, preventing flies from entering your home or indoor spaces.

04

Wasps

Wasps can be aggressive and deliver painful stings, making it crucial to know where they hide. These stinging insects build their nests in protected areas, such as eaves, attics, or tree branches. They may also construct nests underground or inside wall voids. Identifying their nests early on can help you avoid unwanted encounters. Be sure to call in dependable pest control providers if you notice wasp nests near high-traffic areas or areas where you spend a lot of time, such as your backyard, patio, or near entryways.

05

Bedbugs

Bedbugs, those nighttime pests that feed on human blood, have specific hiding spots in our homes. They typically reside in mattresses, box springs, and bedding, where they can easily access their human hosts. Bed Bugs also hide in cracks and crevices around the bed frame, furniture seams, and even behind wallpaper.

06

Ticks

Ticks, the small arachnids that can transmit diseases like Lyme disease, thrive in specific environments. They typically hide in tall grass, wooded areas, and leaf litter. Ticks wait on vegetation for passing hosts to latch onto, so be cautious when spending time in areas where ticks are prevalent.

07

Cockroaches

Cockroaches, the resilient pests that can cause frustration, have preferred hiding spots within our homes. They seek out warm and humid areas such as basements, crawl spaces, and kitchen cabinets. These nocturnal insects can squeeze into small cracks and crevices, making them difficult to detect and eliminate.

08

Spiders

Spiders are commonly found in homes and gardens during the summer months. They tend to hide in dark, undisturbed areas such as closets, basements, attics and sheds. Spiders also create webs in corners, windowsills, and outdoor structures. Eliminating clutter and regularly cleaning these areas can help prevent spider infestations.

09

Bees

Bees play a vital role in pollination, but their presence can be concerning for those with allergies or phobias. Bees often build their nests in sheltered areas such as tree hollows, wall voids, or even underground. They are attracted to flowers and flowering plants, so gardens and outdoor spaces with abundant blooms may attract bees.

Takeaways

By familiarizing yourself with the common hiding spots of summer pests, you can take proactive measures to prevent infestations and protect your home. Regular home maintenance, inspections, proper sanitation, and implementing natural and effective pest control measures will go a long way in ensuring a comfortable and pest-free summer season.

Remember, early detection and prompt action are key to minimizing the impact of pests and maintaining a healthy living environment. Stay informed, stay vigilant, and enjoy a pest-free summer!

pool design

Summer is here, which means more time in the sun and reinventing our outdoor spaces to make them more usable when the weather calls for it. Swimming pools are always a popular choice for homeowners, but they're not without their problems. To ensure you are not making costly mistakes, we will discuss five things to consider before installing your pool: Is your space big enough? Do you have the required space to accommodate a pool? Do you have the time and energy to maintain a swimming pool? Are you prepared for the price tag? Let’s discuss these talking points in more detail.

Why should I consider installing a swimming pool?

First and foremost, a backyard swimming pool is a great addition to any home. It can be used for various purposes such as exercising, hosting parties and family gatherings, or just relaxing on the weekends. When you install a swimming pool in your backyard, you not only get the benefits of a beautiful addition to your property, but you also gain more usable recreation space in your backyard.

Before installing a swimming pool, there are many things to consider. Here are six things that you should keep in mind before jumping right into a pool purchase, so to speak.

No. 1

Size of space

The size of your space is very important as it dictates how big your pool will be and what type of pool you should get. Are you looking for an above-ground pool or one that is built into your space? Be sure to resolve this first as it will determine what comes next in your planning process. Obviously, you will require more of a budget and planning for a built-in pool.

If your space is small, you could consider getting a smaller swimming pool like this that is easier to maintain and less expensive in the long run. On the other hand, if your space is very large, you can opt for a larger swimming pool, which will be more expensive to maintain but will also provide more space for fun activities like water basketball or water volleyball.

No. 2

Swimming pool design

The design of your swimming pool will determine how it looks and what features it has. There are many different designs of swimming pools, so make sure to know your preferences before going shopping. Above-ground pools will give you less customization, so your design options will be less intense than if you are designing a built-in pool that will require all of the raw materials and construction.

If you are looking to build one into your space, create an inspiration board with all of the key design features including the type of tiles and grout colors, overall design aesthetic, and key elements you want to include. For example, are you dreaming of a more modern swimming pool design such as an infinity pool, or are you wanting a more traditional one? Do you want fountains in your pool? What type of lighting features do you want it to have? These are important questions to ask yourself.

No. 3

Type of swimming pool

The type of swimming pool is important because it will determine what the shape and dimensions are as well as how it will be maintained and cleaned. There are many portable pool designs that require a different understanding than built-in pools, so taking these things into consideration is helpful when evaluating the best options for you.

In addition, these various decisions will also impact the maintenance factors that you will experience down the road. Getting a chlorinated pool will be different than a natural or salt-water pool. Having a heated pool will require a different setup as well. So, deciding that right from the start will allow you to narrow down your choices and focus your planning on the right approach.

No. 4

Size of swimming pool

Based on the size of your space, you will need to determine the size and dimensions of your pool and the equipment requirements. Be sure to understand that there will be more maintenance requirements for a larger pool. You will also need to allow for space for recreation around your pool area, so get your measurements spot-on for more accuracy.

Also, consider how many people you are looking to host. Ensure that your pool will be functional for your space requirements. If things don’t seem like a good fit at first, seek alternatives as there are always other options to get your desired output.

No. 5

Price of swimming pool

The price of a pool will depend on the design, type, and size, as well as your preference for certain materials. According to Forbes, you are looking at an average cost of $35,000 for an in-ground pool and between $750 and $3,000 for an above-ground pool. Consider what your long-term needs are for this purchase. Since adding a pool can be very costly and seem more like an investment, you may even consider renting a pool in your local area.

If you are still set on installing a pool, once you complete your pool project, you could also earn money for your pool by listing it for others to enjoy throughout the year. This can also justify the cost of installing it and may help you feel better that it is providing cash flow to offset the inherent headache that it may cause to maintain throughout the year.

No. 6

Swimming Pool Water Quality

Last but not least, swimming can be a source of healthy exercise during those warm summer months. However, there are a few factors that can affect your health and safety when you swim, including water quality. Water quality in a swimming pool is not just about the water itself but also about what is in the ground near your house. The ground can be contaminated with things like fertilizer or pesticide runoff, which can make the water unsafe to drink and even unsafe to swim in. Have an analysis of the area done prior to installation to avoid any possible contamination in the future.

Considering the least likely of scenarios when planning your pool purchase will help you avoid headaches in the future. You will also need to decide on the type of water usage for your pool such as chlorinated or salt water. Do you want to avoid chlorination and go with a natural or saltwater pool? There are many factors to consider with each type of pool.

How to maintain your new swimming pool for years of fun and health benefits

A new swimming pool is a great addition to any backyard. It's easy to maintain and can provide hours of fun for the whole family. Here are some tips on how to care for your new pool. Maintaining a new swimming pool is easy as long as you follow these simple steps:

  • Clean the filter once a week with fresh water and vinegar

  • Check the water levels every week, adjusting them if necessary

  • Replace the filter once a year

  • Ensure that you are covered with a warranty on your purchase—including parts and materials—to prepare for any possible issues in the future

Takeaways

Installing a new swimming pool can seem like a dream and a nightmare all at once, but with the proper planning, you can effectively achieve what you desire from your space. As with any creative process, all of your hard work will pay off and you can be proud of it once it is complete. Owning a swimming pool provides a welcoming escape for you and your guests throughout the warm seasons. Be happy you dived in and made the purchase after considering all the factors involved.

The Never-Ending Weekend

I am a firm believer in gaining freedom over your life. Society has the ability to pressure us into believing that there is a certain way to do things, and to ultimately live. In this short post, I want to inspire you to get out of your routine and set your weekends on your own terms.

I remember when I was working over 120 hours every two weeks at my full-time day job. I was so exhausted. It took a huge toll on me mentally and physically. I literally did not have any time for myself. A part of me was screaming inside, wanting to end the cycle and regain control over my life.

This is why, today, I feel so passionately about spreading the message of living life on your own terms and creating the life you want and pursuing work that you love. It's not even about the money for me because freedom, to me, is priceless.

No one has the luxury to change things overnight, which is why I always encourage people to start out small. What if I told you that the first thing you had to do was change your mentality? Well, if there were one piece of advice that would lead you on that path toward independence, that is exactly the first thing I would tell you. It sounds simple, but it simply isn't.

Changing your mentality is something that could take years to accomplish, so let's start out small. Let's carve out days during the week where you feel like you are rebelling against the "norm". Instead of waiting until the weekend to do things that you love to do, why not try to incorporate those activities into your weekly schedule?

I am going to be sharing three ways of how I create a never-ending weekend in my daily life or how I carry my weekend into the work week. What may seem a joyous activity to me, may not be the same for you, so I would like you to start thinking about what makes you happy and use this as inspiration.

How

I create my never-ending weekend

Working at my passion

Believe it or not, I love working on the weekends, which is why I put less pressure on myself during the week and just see every day as an opportunity to pursue what makes me happy. A lot of us wait until the weekends to do what we love, which is why I believe we should be carrying that into the week. Don't wait until the weekend to pursue your side-hustle or something that you're curious about pursuing or learning about. Get at it during the week, even if you have to stay up late or set aside a few hours toward it. It will all add up, so don't think that your efforts are too small to see any results.

Doing spontaneous activities

If you follow me anywhere on social media, you'll know that the beach is one of my most favorite places to be. With that being said, I actually like to go to the beach during the week because it is a lot less busy, and I feel like I am taking a mini-vacation. When you do things that you would ordinarily reserve for the weekend, It feels so freeing and liberating, kinda like when you wear a bra that feels like it's not even there, am I right?! It makes me feel so grateful for the life that I live despite the challenges I face and makes me appreciate the day so much more, which fuels me to continue on this path. I also love to explore Los Angeles or Orange County whenever I feel like I'm craving a new experience. Not only does it expose me to different things that I wouldn't normally have done, it inspires me to keep creating even more new experiences.

Enjoying my favorite foods and drinks

I don't know about you, but food and drinks can make me so happy and get me excited about my day. I take special care to think about what it is that I could eat or drink that would make me happy. Instead of having pancakes only on the weekends, I literally will have it every day if that's what I feel would make me happy. I can be a little extreme when it comes to food, so if I feel like eating something, in particular, I don't care how long it will take me to make it; I make it! It feels so great to listen to your body and feed it what it wants no matter what day of the week it is.

Summer Summer Summertime … Is Over

I'm back with a new post! It's only been a couple months, but hey, life happens, right! Did you miss me? I've been going through a bunch of huge changes in my life all at once, so it's a little chaotic over here, but I can't wait to tell you all about it in the near future! This summer will go down in the books as one of the most memorable summers of all time. I'll fill you in on all of the details later!

In the meantime, I'm doing something a bit different and sharing some of my summer looks that I have been enjoying and currently transitioning into fall. It's already officially fall, but you know what, it was 96 degrees today in Oklahoma. I mean! Well, that's Oklahoma for ya, so there's that! Can we all agree that summer just can't end!!! It just can't. *bawls eyes out* Anywho (I've used this word since I was in grade school and it has never left me haha), I hope you enjoy this little photo montage.

First and foremost, I want to give a special thanks to Tobi for collaborating with me on this post and for sending me such cute pieces that I personally picked out and have been obsessing over since. Last but not least, a shoutout to Ekin from Enn Photography who did a lovely job at capturing me in these looks in Oklahoma City.

Backstory: I am obsessed with wood textures. Anything wood! Hence, the wood background and concrete accents. If you can tell me which spot this is in Oklahoma City, I will personally shout you out on Instagram. Not that you'd want that or care, but you're welcome. Haha.

Backstory: Here's another spot that I've always been obsessed with. Not only that it's the side of a Whole Foods building, which makes it even cooler, but I'm crazy about grass and vines, so this is a big deal, guys. Huge deal! Okay, I'll stop with being weird now. Haha.

Can you really ever get enough of ripped or distressed denim? I think not. At least, I can't! Definitely check out the Tobi pieces that I linked because most are currently on sale! I hope you enjoyed this short and sweet post. I am very much looking forward to writing more blog posts in the near future (once life slows down a little bit).
