Hello Lovely Living exists for women from all walks of life, online creative entrepreneurs, influencers, bloggers, and digital content creators, and those destined to be, who have a purpose to bring change and awareness within their space. The mission: Promote a community of encouragement and support, while inspiring each other to be our greatest selves so that we can impact the world in a positive way. Meanwhile, by simply sharing our unique gifts and resources with each other and the world, we are impacting the world in ways, unimaginable.

At Hello Lovely Living, my goal is to provide a safe space where you can come for encouragement and leave feeling inspired and refreshed + walk away with resources that will help you grow and connect, whether that be personally or professionally.

STRONG CONNECTION WITH NATURE + birds

Around here, we have a love for nature, the outdoors, and birds, so if you see me being a #crazyplantlady or #crazybirdlady—yes, that is me! I discovered my love for photography through snapping photos of plants, which evolved into a love for landscape, nature, and outdoor photography, and styling photos, settings, and scenes.

This new journey led me whereupon I launched a creative services agency to provide digital services to women who needed support with branding, Squarespace website design, social media, and the likes of other digital services. Here I was, doing something that I’m truly very passionate about all the while, creating and sharing mindful content and resources. My goal was simple—to provide women with access to the tools, resources, and support that would enable them to succeed in all areas of life for overall wellbeing.

I have a passion for wellness, living authentically, and discovering ways to become the best version of myself every day. Wellness could be anything from choosing to eat better foods, reducing exposure to harmful sources (products, ingredients, etc.), and learning new ways to live more naturally and in a way that nurtures the body from the inside out.

It is putting the focus on the inner self—the spirit, and learning how to live a more joy-filled and love-filled life while constantly growing and evolving into my most authentic self—in love and appreciation for this life. You will find me focusing on wellness and personal development topics, because it is in this constant search for truth, that I am able to share and help others find theirs.

“SO, WHO IS STINA, AND WHAT IS HER STORY?”

Flashback to when I was a little girl in her room trying so hard to curb boredom (pre-tech days): I loved to decorate the house in general, rearrange my room (more like the entire house), and learn from my eventual idol, Martha Stewart, the OG lifestyle influencer in my opinion. I would often choose to purchase decor for my room instead of something else you might expect a little girl to want. While doing the dishes, I would pretend I had an audience watching just beyond the kitchen window, and I would recite a DIY tutorial in my head about how to wash the dishes. Too funny, right? Maybe I was predicting the future, somehow? I read ALL of the astrology and self-development books lying around the house, including Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus—my all-time favorite, because astrology and psychology intrigued me. Then came pagers, cellphones, and computers … And in 2003, the year I graduated from high school, Myspace (finally). And there I was learning to customize my profile by “messing with the code”. Years later, I discovered blogs, and that’s when I dreamt of having one of my own, or better yet, my own website. I just didn’t know where to start since it was such a new concept at the time. Little did I know, in the near future, I would already be well ahead of myself. Eventually, my education, training, and career within the digital space would allow me access to the tools I needed to explore this innate desire even further.

It was in 2002 that I became a mom at age 17 to my beautiful first-born son, Kodi. I went on to graduate and study visual arts at a local community college soon after in 2003—juggling modeling gigs and various job interests, while soon working full-time hours as a graphic designer beginning in 2006. My pursuits advanced me to the university to attain a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing in 2010 where I graduated with cum laude honors. I continued on my career path as a graphic designer and marketing administrator at a luxury auto dealer.

A TURNING POINT IN MY LIFE

After working continuously from the age of 16, by age 28, I had already reached a very early turning point in my life; I realized that I wanted more for myself and my family than just your standard 9-5. I was never completely satisfied or fulfilled with my work, and I have always been one to seek the truth in every situation, so I began to question my path and search for answers. I wanted to create something for myself, but most importantly do something that I loved whole-heartedly. I wanted fulfillment. So, with my heart guiding me, I decided to launch Hello Lovely Living in 2014.

HELLO LOVELY LIVING WAS BORN

This website was a passion project, and what I discovered about myself here has literally been life-changing. That little girl who loved to decorate, design, and get her arts and crafts on with Martha was still there. When I decided to follow my heart, I found myself and discovered what truly makes me happy, purpose-driven, and complete.

Hello Lovely Living has evolved over the course of going on a decade, and I am so excited for what’s to come. I am really here to connect beyond the screen and help you all in some way, whether it be the teeniest tiniest tip or the most life-altering realization that you are incredible and that the world needs to experience your gifts.

my greatest blessings call me “mom”

Behind the screens and above all else, I am a boy mom to the core to two beautiful boys, Kodi and Uri. They have my heart for eternity. I do miss my yellow cockatiel named Peachy (rest in paradise) who literally walked into my life like the knight in shining armor that he was one bright and sunny day in Orange County, California—this, I will never forget. I serve an awesome, amazing God and Creator to whom I give all glory and praise for everything I am and everything I hope to be. And I can't exit without giving a shoutout to my most beloved ones and the place that will always guide my heart: My beautiful island familia and home, Guåhan aka GUAM, the most beautiful place on earth where I was born and raised, and that I truly carry in my heart with me everywhere I go.
