Cozy + Quiet Mornings
Since Uriah started school this fall, I have had to get into the routine of waking up at 6 am (ish), and one thing that I have found is that I need clothes that are comfortable, easy to throw on, and warm. I don’t know about you, but I am freezing whenever I wake up in the morning, and I just want to cover up ASAP. I also want to still look put together, not like I just rolled out of bed when I drop Uriah to school.
Although it still remains hot in the day here in Southern California, during the fall and winter, the mornings and evenings can be cold, so it’s really important that I wear something that can keep me warm enough in the mornings. When it’s time to pick him up, the weather has drastically warmed up, so the same thing that I’m wearing needs to be breathable and functional enough that it’s not too hot.
I recently got introduced to Cuddl Duds, and as soon as I put these soft knit leggings on, I instantly fell in love. They are the most comfortable leggings I’ve had yet. The front waistband has a cross-over front and is elevated so that it doesn’t keep falling throughout the day. It is also a relaxed fit, so it’s not extremely tight or suffocating, yet it still holds my body. I really love that!
The black leggings are the soft wear with stretch, so they are much lighter and a bit see-through. They are wearable through all-seasons, and I can see that they would be good for layering. They also have a sleek feel to them, so they are super comfortable and almost feel like you’re not wearing anything. Both of these legging styles can be used for weekends, work, or active use, so they are very versatile.
I got a matching soft knit hoodie to go with the leggings in that same grey heather color, and I like how this has a loose feel to it because after all, I am going for ultimate comfort here. It isn’t bulky, so I like that, and the thumbholes come in handy when my hands get cold. The shirt tail hem is great because I do like the coverage whenever I wear leggings. I also like the fit because it accentuates my figure despite it being a relaxed fit.
I am really enjoying these so far, and since I do work from home, I can lounge in these all day.
